Lap Band Adjustments

Following Lap Band surgery, the patient will then follow up with their doctor over the course of weeks and months to have the band adjusted as needed.

During that procedure, the band is adjusted so that it is neither so loose that hunger is not controlled, nor so tight that food may not be consumed. As to how often a patient will need an adjustment will vary from case to case.
